"Don't let the look of this place deceive you. The decor and that looks like it came straight from the 1980s. However we tried it nonetheless as the place was extremely busy - all tables full and queue for takeaway. These people clearly were here for the food not the decor!! We bought some vegetable samosas. All freshly made and tasted lovely. Definitely recommend this place for veggie food."

"I will give full marks for food, Samosa chaat and stuffed paratha are really good. Back staff is ladies based so very hygienic but service is not so professional. T Fine if you takeaway but if you want to eat in, then there's a problem. Place can improve a lot if they hire some more staff in term of customer service. Good and tasty food overall"

"Food was really very tasty , as the name says taste of Punjab, I tried paneer paratha, makke ki roti and sarso ka saag, samosa, rassgulla, gulab jamun everything was made fresh and delicious. They were very humble and polite, I would definitely go wherever I come to Leicester."

"I ordered starters and main course meals from Shere Punjab for my son’s birthday. My all guests enjoyed the food. In fact they all were asking me who made this yummy food. I will definitely recommend Shere Punjab to all those people who like to eat delicious food at reasonable price. Also, staff here is so friendly. I been here with my family 3-4 times in last couple of months and we always felt welcome and loved the food."

The dal makhani was creamy and perfectly spiced, and the lamb dishes were fall-off-the-bone tender. The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. The staff were warm and attentive without being overbearing, and the atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming — great for a family meal or a casual dinner with friends.
